Editing in Moodle Learning Management System
Moodle is one example of what’s called a Learning Management System (LMS). LMSs are platforms in which we can house and facilitate online courses and track learner activities. Beth has worked extensively in Moodle since 2012 on hundreds of online courses and would love to spend time helping you learn how to edit in Moodle so that you can begin to create your first course or deepen your introductory knowledge of the platform.
In this two-hour 1:1 session Beth will show you around a Moodle course “shell” from the instructor/teacher perspective so that you’re familiar with where things are, including finding overall course settings, enroling participants and turning editing on. You’ll explore the purposes of all the Moodle resources and activities and get lots of hands on practice adding these to your course and knowing how they work. You’ll walk away from this session with the technical skills to begin to create a basic Moodle course.
It’s important to be aware that this session will not teach you how to procure or set up a Moodle instance from a site administration perspective. It is solely focused on how to edit in Moodle once your overall LMS platform is ready and you’re ready to work at the course level.
Note: Please purchase this package approximately 4-8 weeks in advance of when you’d like to begin working with Beth. Feel free to reach out via the Contact page if you’d like to get a sense of Beth’s availability before purchasing this package. Pricing of this session is for one person only. If you would like Beth to train a small or large group in the same skills, please contact her for custom pricing.
