We live in an interconnected world where remote work continues to gain momentum and more of us are finding ourselves in hybrid teams. This means that team members are often working in different locations, cities, and even time zones, and relying on hybrid meetings to bridge the distance between each other. And while hybrid meetings offer many benefits, like greater flexibility and accessibility, they also create unique challenges related to inclusion and engagement. So how can we navigate this new hybrid reality effectively?

This workshop is designed for anyone who leads teams, team projects, or team meetings and wants to learn more about what it takes to run an effective hybrid meeting, as well as when a different approach might lead to more effective and inclusive collaboration.

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify common challenges of hybrid meetings and steps to mitigate them
  • Describe the elements of effective hybrid meetings
  • Create a plan to shape your next collaborative team project

Facilitators: Anna McClean and Beth Cougler Blom. Read our bios on our team page.

This will be a participatory session held on Zoom. A link to the Zoom meeting room will be sent to you before the workshop. Please come prepared to share challenges and ideas with other participants. A maximum of 20 participants will be registered. This workshop will not be recorded.
